Naming and development of the trademark/Logo
Tasks:
renovation of the Ottilie Hoffmann house and its conversion into an Arts- and Literature Café taking into consideration of Art exhibits and readings.
With its design and furnishing the salon demanded the direction of a Café House in retrospective style. Managers and founders shared an affinity to Italy.
The selection of the name came up in adaption to the art style "Ambiente" (the walkable, inspectable room).
The characters for the logo originated from a drawing taking into account the former manufactured neon-sign, positioned at the entrance.
The bows of the letters ought to correspond to the shape of the chosen dishes (Art Déco elements).
The significant half-bow-curve, ending up in a straight line indicated the shapes in the designs of the pot and cup handles.
Originally for the print design, a semi-rosette of indicated rays was used, which adapted the shapes of the chair backs stylistically.
With the addition of the word "Café" in the name, some design elements have changed.
